When information differs between Motaded and an authority
Start by checking whether the values describe the same record at the same stage. A workspace entry, a retrieved snapshot and an official result can differ for different reasons.

Information in Motaded may be entered by your team, prepared for a future change or retrieved through a supported connection. An authority maintains its own official records. When values differ, identify the entity, source and timing before changing anything or using the information in another application.
Who does what
Workspace information
Represents details held or prepared in Motaded.
Retrieved information
Represents the data returned by a supported service at the time of retrieval.
Official record
Represents the information maintained by the relevant authority.
Issued document
Records the information stated when the document was issued.
Your authorised team
Investigates the difference and follows the appropriate update or correction process.
In what order
1
Confirm that you are comparing the same entity
Check the company identifier, establishment or branch, person and request reference as relevant. Similar names are not enough.
2
Identify what each value represents
Determine whether the value is a current workspace entry, a proposed change, a retrieved record or information printed on an issued document.
3
Check the timing
Review the available retrieval, issue or update dates. A newer upload may contain an older document, while a prepared amendment may not yet be official.
4
Review the relevant official source
Check the authority responsible for the fact in question. Different authorities may maintain separate records with different scopes.
5
Choose the correct correction path
If the workspace value is wrong, review the supported local update. If the official record is wrong, use the relevant authority’s correction or amendment procedure.
6
Review affected drafts and tasks
Check preparation that depends on the disputed information. Do not assume that correcting one record updates every draft or an already-submitted request.
7
Confirm the result
After the appropriate action, check the available record again and retain any official response that explains the change.
Workspace review vs official action
A difference that needs a workspace review
May involve a typing error, older retrieved information or a proposed value
Can require checking the source before applying an update
Does not necessarily mean the authority’s record is wrong
A difference that needs official action
Concerns information maintained by an authority
May require a formal correction or amendment
Is not resolved by editing a local field
Needs confirmation from the relevant procedure
Check these explanations before deciding
Different entity
The records may concern different companies, establishments or people.
Official identifiers
Different time
One value may predate an official change.
Retrieval or document dates
Different stage
A proposed amendment may be visible in preparation but not yet reflected officially.
Draft / request / result
Different scope
Two fields may describe different concepts despite similar labels.
Relevant service definitions
Different format
Language, calendar, transliteration or formatting may affect the display.
Source record
Incomplete retrieval
Missing information may reflect an access or retrieval problem rather than an absent official record.
Connection / retrieval outcome
Mistakes to avoid
Assuming the newest-looking value is automatically correct.
Comparing companies by name without checking identifiers.
Treating blank data as confirmation that an official record does not exist.
Replacing official information with a proposed amendment before completion.
Assuming one authority’s update has already reached every other service.
Continuing a dependent application while a material difference remains unresolved.
Check the current record maintained by the authority responsible for that fact and the requirements of the receiving service. If the official record is incorrect, resolve it through the appropriate procedure.
No. A new retrieval may help when information is out of date, but it does not correct an official record or resolve a difference in meaning.
Check what each record covers and whether an update is still pending. Ask the responsible service to clarify unresolved differences rather than assuming one update automatically applies everywhere.
You can organise unaffected information, but do not authorise an action that depends on an unresolved material detail. Confirm the relevant facts first.
Understand the difference before changing the record
Review company information and its sources in Platform, then follow the correction path relevant to the record.
